Modern

During the late 1960's - 80's Mendoza’s son Brunik worked at well-known art galleries in the La Cienega area of Los Angeles where Modern Art was becoming popular and attracting buyers from New York and Chicago. Brunik suggested to his father that he should perhaps consider creating works in this style.

The result of that conversation between father and son are the paintings in this section.

As you will see Mendoza not only met the challenge but surpassed it by creating a collection of imaginative works from Modern to Futuristic.

Mendoza changed his signature style to simply 'Mendoza' for his modern collection of paintings.

Note: Some of his early modern paintings are signed AGD Mendoza.
