Symphony To The Astronauts

 

Although considered a controversial work of art by many, ‘Symphony to the Astronauts’ is a homage to Challenger Shuttle Crew: Francis R. Scobee, Michael J. Smith, Ronald McNair, Ellison Onizuka, Judith Resnik, Greg Jarvis and Christa McAuliffe.

 

"I see this painting as a different yet dignified way to remember the astronauts.  This opus shows the astronauts gracefully at peace as they ascend to heaven".
